COMPUTERS
This is not an industry for the faint-hearted, things are changing all the time, at such speed. This must be the fastest growing industry during the last century. If computers hadn't 'taken off', there wouldn't be a 'net' and you wouldn't be reading this. Also, contrary to popular belief that IT is a man's world, you'll find the ladies are moving up the ranks in the technology sector in a wide range of occupations.
As memory increases and the speed gets faster, the price of computers (and printers) is coming down all the time. Basically computers all do the same thing - the main differences are -
| » |
how fast do they do it? |
| » |
how much can they store (memory)? |
| » |
what little extras have they got? |
| » |
and what is the after-sales-service like? |
We think you should add to that, the track record of the company concerned. Then all you need to do is work out whether it's a fair price and if you can afford it. Consideration of any extra 'insurance' is sometimes tricky. Remember, if computers are going to go wrong it's usually in the early stages. It's helpful if you have a relation or friend that knows something about them to advise you. Have a good browse through the following.
I’ve studied hundreds of ‘Business Opportunities’ over the last year or so, and you have to be very careful with some of them. Obviously, they are like most other businesses to make money.
Quite often you’ll see there is an offer for FREE. Then you find it’s not really free at all, or if it is, it’s not worth bothering about. Typically, you see that in order to get the best offer you need to ‘update’ i.e. pay some money. The majority that come my way involve MLM.
MLM (multi-level marketing) is used quite regularly these days, sometimes called network marketing. If you’re not au fai with this it means that you get an income from introducing others to the scheme that you are in (the income would be residual), then typically you get further payments from the people introduced by those people. Down a number of levels. Did you follow that? You can make a nice income from MLM but you need to be good at ‘closing a deal’ most people unfortunately, aren’t that good. Don’t confuse it with pyramid selling that’s illegal. Usually there’s no product with pyramid selling.
If you’re unsure about any offer, or you are confused by the MLM / Pyramid Selling thing, then take a look at www.profitclinic.com/mlm/boobytraps/From there go to ‘the truth’ and then onto ‘profit clinic’. You’ll find it gives good background and clear advice on what to look out for etc. If you’re still unsure you could also have a look at www.pnews.org/boards/ There are other websites that will advise you and if you want more information just put ‘mlm pyramid selling’ into your browser and you should get a good list of sites that will help you.
I’ve chosen some ‘business opportunity’ sites for you to look at here that I consider to be genuine. Have a browse around, you might find something that will make your fortune. Bear in mind though, even in the good ones, you are going to have to do some work. You won’t get something for nothing!
